This series of artworks showcase her love for the multi-faceted diversity of the deliciously rich Peranakan Culture. “Simply Irresistible” depicts celestial animals that are irresistibly attracted by tradition Peranakan covered jar or flora Peranakan-ware, exploring distinctively pervasive in Peranakan wares and tribute to traditional Peranakan culture. Her works uses meticulous approach to its aesthetics. The complexity of her work reflects both realistic and abstract renditions in oil. Through her gestural brush strokes, she created a harmonious unity using vibrant and rich colours.
