Appraisal and Collection Art Gallery aims to promote Chinese art around asia. The gallery advocates cross-cultural art exchange, providing a global platform to stimulate the cultural engagement between artists, collectors, curators, and art organizations worldwide. Amongst its collections are four chinese ink artists, two of whom are masters of the painting medium.
Niu Zhiye, born in Beijing in 1972, is currently a member of the Beijing Artists Association, as well as a professional painter. He is renowned for painting the old Hutong and the lofty palace walls of Beijing, which four of his paintings were respectively collected by the embassy of Australia, Canada, and Germany in China. Niu has had numerous solo and group exhibitions locally, and worldwide.
Sun Chengxin was born in Liaoning Province in 1946, acclaimed for exploring the profoundness of Chinese traditional calligraphy and painting. Since the 1980s, Sun has held more than 30 solo exhibitions internationally. His paintings were largely collected by art institutions and private collectors locally and abroad.
Winning the best prize in the capital painting and calligraphy exhibition in 2016, Chinese artist Zhang Xue had recently graduated from Peking University. She is currently under the mentorship of Niu Zhiye. Zhang’s paintings have been exhibited internationally and were also published.
Chinese painter Yao Wei was inspired by Liu Fumin, a disciple of the royal painters of the Forbidden City during the Qing Dynasty. Apart from having won numerous awards for his elegant, lively and fluid painting style, Yao is not only a painter, but also a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
