Lisa is a lawyer-turned-artist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has been creating art for more than a decade and became a full-time artist in 2020. Since 2015, she has participated in group art exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur. She held her first solo exhibition with Gallery 1819 in 2021 during which she showcased her paddy field series.An avid hiker, diver and traveler, nature has always been her guide and inspiration, unveiling profound insights about life. Lisa’s ongoing meditation and yoga practice enhances her ability to reach deep within for inner guidance for her artwork. Lisa explores various art movements and styles but is known for her uninhibited and lively Impressionist brushstrokes to capture the fleeting qualities of light and atmosphere in her landscape paintings. She focuses on an interplay of colours and textures that convey the essence of nature. Her landscapes are expressions of her emotional connection to nature and the realm of consciousness, offering viewers a respite from the complexities of everyday life and finding solace in the timelessness of nature.Lisa is also a part-time art therapist and art teacher, using art to boost the mental health of her clients and students.
