Simply Irresistible – Solo Exhibition by Tracy Oh

This series of artworks showcase Tracy’s love for the multi-faceted diversity of the deliciously rich Peranakan Culture. “Simply Irresistible” depicts celestial animals that are irresistibly attracted by traditional Peranakan covered jar or flora Peranakan-ware, exploring distinctively pervasive in Peranakan wares and tribute to traditional Peranakan culture. Her works use a meticulous approach to their aesthetics. The complexity of her work reflects both realistic and abstract renditions of oil. Through her gestural brush strokes, she created a harmonious unity using vibrant and rich colours.
